Melrose Metal Finishing, Inc. was started in 1968 by Wayne and Phyllis Nagengast. Melrose got it’s name from the district in which it was founded. We moved to the South Stonehurst district in 1972 and have operated here ever since. We are a full service powder coating shop. Most of our employees have been with the company for 15+ years. Present owner and son, Curtis Nagengast, has provided the same high quality service as did his dad since becoming full time owner in 1999. We thank you for your patronage and look forward to being here for another 50 years!

Curtis, a true professional in the finishings industry, took Melrose to the next level by changing our focus from liquid paint to powder coating in the early 2000’s. When away from the shop, you can find him enjoying the single-track trails or hill climbs aboard his dirt bike.

Jennifer skillfully oversees all financial matters within our business, while championing our commitment to environmental sustainability. Jennifer loves to partake in extreme sports, such as dirt bike riding and wake surfing.

Chris possesses a wealth of knowledge and hands on experience across a wide spectrum of aspects within the finishings industry. Chris values family time when off work, and also enjoys watching sports and sprint car racing.

Nathan has a strong passion for advancing and expanding the business, constantly seeking new approaches to enhance our operations. When not in the shop, you can find Nathan at your local motocross track or out on the water with family and friends.
